In the United States want to impose new sanctions against DPRK

A bill to impose new sanctions against North Korea supported in the lower house of the us Congress.

The house of representatives of the U.S. Congress supported the expansion of sanctions against North Korea, reports UKRINFORM.

It is noted that the new sanctions voted by 419 members, and opposed by one.

Now the bill must be sent to the U.S. Senate, and if it approves it, then it is sent for signature to the President of the United States Donald Trump.

The bill aims to limit the flow to North Korea of funds from abroad and should be a signal to the DPRK, which shows the extent of international concern at the escalation in the country’s nuclear program.

The sanctions are focused mostly on international trade and Maritime transport. Among other things, the document allows the Ministry of national security of the United States to inspect the cargo, addressed to North Korea on the United States. Also, if the bill is passed, the ships under the flag of the DPRK and other countries that violate UN Resolutions, will not be able to enter the seaports of the United States.
