MOSCOW, 7 Aug. /TASS/. The launch of a new section of the “yellow” branch (Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line ) of the Moscow metro from “Ramenki to Rasskazovka” could take place in August this year, has informed on Tuesday to journalists the Vice-mayor of Moscow Marat Khusnullin.

Earlier it was reported that this phase may be completed by the beginning of September 2018.

“Summing up [of the past] 7 months, I can safely say that we have 2018 is the year of metro. Eight stations and about 16 km, and one depot was built,” – said Khusnullin. According to him, currently the authorities are preparing for the start of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line. “It is about 17 km and 7 stations – run by the end of August (2018)”, – he said.

In addition, the authorities will take a decision on joining the two sections of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line subway in the center by 2023, after the launch of the Large ring line of the subway. “We plans to keep as a potential. Design decisions are. The final decision whether we branch to build, will accept after the launch of the BKL (before end 2023)”, – said Khusnullin, stressing that this area is very complex in terms of technology.

According to him, the decision on the construction of the Central section will be made on the basis of the load of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line as a separate branch from the metro station “Business center” airport Vnukovo.

Earlier it was reported that the Moscow authorities plan to approve the project is the extension of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya metro line to Vnukovo airport in 2019.

Launches of other metro lines

Khusnullin said that the Moscow authorities are also ready to start the Kozhukhovskaya metro line from “Nekrasovka” to “Kosino”, to make a technical start-up of the site of the Sokolnicheskaya line from the “Salar” to “Stolbovo” and finish the station “Belomorskaya”.

“In total we expect this year’s 24 stations and about 50 kilometers [lines]. A lot or a little? I want to say that never yet built (per year – approx. TASS). Because for the previous 6 years we passed the 64 stations, and then for one year 24 stations,” – said Khusnullin. According to him, therefore, after the completion of metro construction in 2018 will improve transport accessibility of the areas, home to 4 million residents.
