TOKYO, September 4. /TASS/. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held Monday a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Korea moon Jae-Otherwise, where the parties discussed held on 3 September a nuclear test in the DPRK.

As reported, the government of Japan, Abe stressed the need for close cooperation with a view to the adoption of a new resolution of the UN security Council on tougher sanctions against Pyongyang .
“The current nuclear test is a serious threat to our country and the entire region. The world community must unite to provide maximum pressure on North Korea and the promotion of UN security Council resolution on the strengthening of sanctions [against Pyongyang]. It is also necessary that Russia and China played on this issue constructive role,” he said.
Moon Jae-In also expressed support for the adoption of a new resolution against Pyongyang. In addition, the parties confirmed that they will hold a meeting in Vladivostok in the framework of the Eastern economic forum (WEF).
