Andrzej Duda said that Poland adopts the experience of Switzerland in the field of education and modern technologies.

In Poland on an official visit is the President of Switzerland Ueli Maurer. Together with the head of the Polish state Andrzej Duda they will discuss bilateral cooperation in the sphere of modern technologies, the relations between Switzerland and the European Union, as well as historical issues, reports “Radio Poland”.

The head of the Cabinet of the President of Poland Krzysztof Mersky said that during negotiations the great attention will be paid to cooperation in the field of modern technologies: “Today, Switzerland ranks 10th among the major investors in Poland, in particular, in those sectors for whom the future: biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and modern technology. This is an important investment.”

President Andrzej Duda said that Poland in various fields based on the examples of Switzerland. The Polish head of state stressed that, in particular, it is about education and about modern technology.

“In many areas we use the perfect examples developed in Switzerland. For example, is the development of professional education, modern technologies or the support of start-UPS. In Switzerland I had the opportunity to learn how to operate their system. I can assure you that in Poland today there are places were introduced such decisions”, – said the President of Duda.

The presidents of Poland and Switzerland will open the celebration of the hundredth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, which will be held in the Royal Łazienki Park.

Ueli Maurer will meet in Warsaw with the speaker of the Sejm Marek Kuchcinski. He will also lay flowers on the Tomb of the Unknown soldier.
