Ivan Uparsin, who was an adviser in the team of Vladimir Zelensky during his presidential campaign, headed the Directorate of the national security and defense of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said the ex-defense Minister of Ukraine, leader of the party “Civic position” Anatoly Gritsenko.

“Ivan Uparsin that the team went to the polls, won the competition and was appointed Director General of the Directorate of the national security and defense of the Office of the President of Ukraine”, – I wrote to Gritsenko on his Facebook page on Friday.

According to posted on the website of the President information on the results of the competition for the vacant post of the General Director of the Directorate of the national security and defence (order of the chief of staff OFFICE, dated 28 August 2019 No. 184-K), Uparsin ahead in the competition Andrew Cherniavsky.

At the same time, while there is no official information on the appointment of Parshina for the position.

Uparsin was the Director of the Department of military policy and strategic planning Ministry of defense of Ukraine (2005-2007). In the team of the candidate in presidents of Ukraine Gritsenko in 2019 – candidate for the post of defense Minister.
