In the Armed forces of Ukraine recorded a second fatal case of coronavirus infection Covid-19. About it reports a press-service of the command of the Medical forces of the APU.

“Today in the intensive care Department of the Lviv regional infectious diseases hospital due to acute respiratory disease Covid-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, died the employee of the Armed forces of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the first signs of illness he appeared on April 1 – fever and shortness of breath. In connection with deterioration of health on April 8, he was taken to Lviv regional infectious diseases hospital where he was hospitalized in the intensive care unit, connected to artificial lung ventilation (ALV) and received the necessary treatment.

“The disease Covid-19 was confirmed by PCR testing 12.04.2020. Today 16.04.2020 at 10:20 he died. According to available information, men, in addition to acute respiratory diseases Covid-19, had comorbidities”, – told the Agency.
