Administration of seaports of Ukraine (ASD) is planning to work on dredging of seaports of Ukraine until 2019, said the head of ASD Raivis Veckagans at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

“This year our goal is dredging in all ports. Today we already have a number of signed contracts… the fifth of April will sign the contract on dredging in the “Black sea”, – he said.

R. Veckagans also said that he expects the increase in exports of goods in 2018, due, in particular, to increase the capacity of ports and in connection with the reduction of the rates of port charges.

As reported, the ports of Ukraine in 2017 exceeded 132,9 million tons of cargo, which is 0.9% higher than in 2016 .
