The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine reported about the illegal disclosure of a channel leakage of private and proprietary information by means of wiretapping in the premises of the Odessa airport.

As reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region in cooperation with investigators and employees of operational units of the security Service in the region revealed the illegal channel leaks private, service information at the Odessa airport.

According to investigators, employees of the company who were supposed to provide programming and maintenance of equipment, in fact, could “record” the entire internal life of the strategic infrastructure.

“Firm organized long-term observation and recording of more than 50 devices information regarding the service, the business activities of the facility, construction of new runways and the like. Among them, the possibility of unauthorized access to the surveillance cameras in the offices of border guards, customs area, operation of cash register, accounting, facilities for personal care, offices and employees of the international airport”, – the report says on page offices in Facebook on Thursday evening.

In addition, representatives of the companies had illegal access to the security cameras of the hall of official delegations, where there were official representatives of Ukraine and foreign States.

The attorney General stressed that the law prohibits the illegal acquisition, sale and use of special means of secret information, the receipt of which is legally possible only under the court decision, in the framework of the authorized investigative actions in criminal proceedings.

“Now law enforcement bodies check the information about the leak of private and trade data from the Odessa airport. Conducted searches in the administrative and service premises of the airport, the offices of enterprises, premises of its employees”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.
