MOSCOW, July 21. /TASS/. The Russians, who plan to have a rest in the near future in Greece and Turkey, refused tours to these countries after the incident of the earthquake. This is stated in the message published on the website of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) on Friday.

According to the ATOR, in particular in the TUI, with their tourists in Turkey, everything is in order. “We are now receiving calls from tourists who in Russia and going on holiday to Turkey. We hasten to calm – the situation in the resorts stable. The tourist infrastructure has not suffered”, – said the company.

“Other tour operators also do not report any abandonment tours or panic among Russian tourists in these countries. They are also currently finding out the details of the situation,” – said in ATOR.

According to USGS, at 1:31 local time (coincides with Moscow) off the coast of Turkey, an earthquake of magnitude 6.7 . The epicenter of the disaster was located 10 km from the resort city of Bodrum in the Turkish province of Mugla and 16 km from the Greek island of KOs. In Greece, injuring more than 120 people on KOs island, killing two: a Turkish citizen and a citizen of Sweden. Russian tourists were not injured.
