MOSCOW, July 22. /TASS/. Authorities in Nizhny Novgorod region in the future are willing to consider proposals from major corporations about renaming the stadium “Nizhny Novgorod”. TASS said acting Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Dmitry Svatkovsky .

Stadium “Nizhny Novgorod”, which took six matches of the 2018 world Cup, is the home arena of the same name of a team participating in the championship of the national Football League (FNL). Previously, it was announced the upcoming renamed “Volgograd-Arena” stadium “Victory”.

“The renaming of the stadium, we do not plan. We have a club called “Nizhny Novgorod” and Nizhny Novgorod stadium, and we play in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. We believe that the vector of names is correct. In the future, if there is interest from large corporations which plan, together with the stadium to position your brand, we are ready to such negotiations”, – said Svatkovsky.

Stadium “Nizhny Novgorod” can accommodate 45 thousand spectators.
