LONDON, 4 Aug. /TASS/. The international Olympic Committee (IOC) cannot denote the exact date when the final decision about participation of Russian national team in games in 2018 in Pyeongchang. It on a press-conferences were reported by the IOC President, Thomas Bach.

“Two commissions are working now and will present the results on the basis of which we decide. I can’t speculate on timing, but it’s too early,” said Bach.

In July 2016, the IOC created two commissions. The first is retesting doping tests of participants of the Olympiad-2014 in Sochi, headed by Denis Oswald. The second is a special Commission of the IOC under the leadership of Samuel Schmid, who is investigating the involvement of employees of the Ministry of sport of the Russian Federation to the possible concealment of doping violations by the Russian athletes . It is on the basis of the decisions of these commissions will be the verdict regarding the participation of the Russian team in the Games in 2018.

It is expected that the report on the work of the Commission will present in October.

Olympics in South Korea’s Pyeongchang will start on 9 February 2018.
