The foreign Ministry of Germany commented on the plan to establish on Syrian territory security zone, initiated by the Russian side.

According to the official website of the German foreign Ministry, Berlin supports any steps that will lead to the cessation of violence in the Syrian Arab Republic, reports “Russian conversation”.

Thus in Department noted that the agreement is an obligation which should ensure that the guarantor countries.

We will remind, the agreement on the formation of zones of tension reduction was supported in the negotiations in Astana the countries-guarantors of a ceasefire in Syria – Russia, Turkey and Iran.

Later, the Russian side noted that the agreement was welcomed by other players in the Syrian arena, in particular the United States and Saudi Arabia. Positively the document was praised by the United Nations .

While the Pentagon said that the aircraft of the Western coalition continues to inflict strikes on “Islamic state” and “Dzhebhat EN-Nusra” (an organization banned in Russia – ed.) in all areas of Syria, despite the formation of the security zones.
