TASS-FILE. March 31, 2018, the interior Ministry opened a criminal case against the owners of the Group “Sum” Ziyavudin Magomedov (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Summa) and his brother Magomed Magomedov, former head of the company “INTEKS”, included in “Amount,” Arthur Maximova. As stated by the official representative of the Ministry Irina Wolf, the case was filed “on the facts of plunders in especially large size of budgetary funds, including allocated for the construction of infrastructure and energy supply”. According to the decision of the Tver court of Moscow Ziyavudin Magomedov arrested until may 30.
Ziyavudin (birth name – Ziaudin) gadzhievich Magomedov was born on 25 September 1968 in the city of Mahachkala Dagestan ASSR (now Republic of Dagestan, Russia). Nationality – Avar .
In 1994 he graduated from the economic faculty of Moscow state University (MSU) named after M. V. Lomonosov on a speciality “World economy”. In 2000 in Moscow state University he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of economic Sciences (topic: “Modern trends in activities of transnational banks”).
In 1993, together with his elder brother Magomed, and his cousin Ahmed by Bellovin and other partners created the company “interfinans”. From 1994 to 1998, Ziyavudin Magomedov was the President of AOZT “IFK – Interfinance” (Moscow; the company existed prior to December 19, 2002), subsequently held the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
In 2002-2004 he headed the Board of founders of the Fund for support program “Dialogue” (St.-Petersburg).
In 2004-2005 was Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “TRANS oil” (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra), then the Board of Directors of OJSC “First mining company” (now – JSC; Moscow).
In July 2010 the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev was appointed as the representative of the Russian Federation to the Business Advisory Council of the forum “Asia-Pacific economic cooperation” for 2010-2012. In 2012 he was Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of APEC.
At the present time – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Summa Group, which was registered in 2007 in Moscow. According to media reports, Ziyavudin Magomedov together with his brother Magomed in control of the company through offshore. “Sum” is owned by Novorossiysk commercial seaport (25%), FESCO Group (50%; transport company), “Yakutskaya toplivno-Energeticheskaya Kompaniya” (90%), the “United grain company” (50% minus one share).
According to Forbes, Ziyavudin Magomedov in 2018 1867 takes place in a world rating of billionaires with a fortune of $1.2 billion.
Is a member of the Russian international Affairs Council (RIAC), Council under the RF President on economy modernization and innovative development of Russia (since 2012). Included with the boards of Trustees of Fund of development and support of the International discussion club “Valdai” (2013), Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of Russia, Russian state University of cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (since 2010), Fund of support of Olympians of Russia, the Bolshoi theatre of Russia. Member of the Supervisory Board of the National research technological University “MISIS”.
Awarded the order of Friendship (2010) and Honor (2012), honorary diploma of the President of Russia (2011; for the contribution to the restoration of the Bolshoi theatre).
Married, three children.
