Residents of Brest achieve a complete closure of the factory battery.

As the correspondent Сharter97.org, Brest residents gathered on the Central square of the city to “feed the pigeons”. Thus they protest against the construction of the factory battery near Brest.

First, there was the traditional meeting on Lenin square, which discussed the latest news related to plant batteries. Then the procession through the main streets. On action there were about 200 people.

The protest against the construction (and later commissioning) battery factory in the outskirts of Brest has become one of the longest in the history of Belarus. People began every Sunday to go to the Central square of the city in January 2018.
