The British foreign Secretary Boris Johnson called on Arab countries to de-escalate the situation in Qatar.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of great Britain, Boris Johnson called on the neighboring state of Qatar to weaken the blockade against this country, the press service of the British foreign office.
“I am concerned about a number of strict measures that Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Bahrain have undertaken against an important partner, and encourage them to ease the blockade of Qatar. I urge all countries to take immediate steps to de-escalate the situation and to find a quick solution through mediation,” said Johnson.
The British foreign Secretary noted that Qatar is a partner of the English state in the fight against terrorism .
“But they need urgently to do more to tackle the problems of supporting the extremist groups, based on the steps they have taken to stop funding these groups,” said Johnson.
