The Minister of sports of Russia Pavel Kolobkov hoped that the issue of buying the rights to broadcast matches of the FIFA world Cup 2018 Russian broadcasters will be resolved positively. About this Kolobkov said at a press conference.

“Of course, the process of buying the rights is a negotiation market. The process is complicated, someone wants to get for them, so everything is fine,” said Kolobok.

Earlier, the consortium “2Спорт2”, which includes the First channel, VGTRK and “Match TV”, has received from the International football Federation (FIFA) the right to broadcast the games of the confederations Cup. “We are in this process did not interfere, well, that all ended positively for Russia . It is a matter of negotiation between the channels and FIFA, so I hope that for the world Cup all will be well,” the Minister added.

As informed TASS said a source familiar with the situation, broadcasts of the matches of the confederations Cup consortium “2Спорт2” paid about $3.5 million, and for telepraca world Cup was offered approximately $35-40 million.

The confederations Cup will be held from 17 June to 2 July in Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. The 2018 world Cup will be held from 14 June to 15 July at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia.
