MOSCOW, December 29. /TASS/. The Central election Commission of Russia at session on Friday has registered authorized financial questions of the candidate in presidents from party “Russian national Union” Sergey Baburin and gave him permission to open a special election account to start collecting signatures.

“Allow the candidate for the position of President of the Russian Federation Sergey Nikolaevich Baburin to open a special election account for formation of election Fund”, – stated in the decree of the CEC.

Earlier, the CEC registered the 30 commissioners of the party, but because of the shortcomings in the documents refused registration of commissioners on financial matters, giving the party a chance to correct mistakes.

Special electoral account of all the candidates open the branch of Sberbank in Oruzheiny pereulok in Moscow . Only after that candidate can start the active phase of the election campaign: to collect signatures of voters and to campaign, because the manufacture of subscription lists, campaign materials and any other work must be paid for from the electoral Fund. The size of the election Fund of a candidate in the presidential elections may not exceed 400 million rubles. Candidates from non-parliamentary parties to register for elections need to collect 100 thousand signatures of voters in its support.

The registration phase started on 27 Dec. To submit tips and documents on registration is possible until January 31. Presidential elections will be held on March 18, 2018.

Baburin is the Chairman of the party “Russian national Union”. He was a Deputy of the state Duma, has held the post of Deputy speaker in the period 1993-2000 and 2004-2007.
