Deputies of the Odessa regional Council during the 25th extraordinary session upheld the decision on early termination of powers of the Chairman of the regional Council VII convocation Anatoly Urban, and elected a new President, MP from the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko “Solidarity” Sergey Parashchenko.

“At the end of the secret ballot, the candidacy of the Deputy Sergey Parashchenko from the parliamentary faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko “Solidarity” was supported by 55 deputies, against – 1, abstained – 1 took part in voting, 58 deputies. Sergey Parashchenko thanked colleagues for their support and confidence, took the oath and continued holding of the session of the meeting,” – said in published on the website of the regional Council on Wednesday the message.

According to the information, then the Deputy corps supported the draft decisions on early termination of powers of deputies of the Odessa regional Council VII convocation Urban and on early termination of powers of the Deputy of the Odessa regional Council VII convocation of Gregory Boyko.

As you know, Urban elected people’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IX convocation of the extraordinary parliamentary elections held on 21 July 2019.
