TASS, 7 Feb. American skier Lindsey Vonn cannot fly to South Korea to participate in the Olympic games in 2018. About this 33-year-old athlete wrote in his Twitter.
“I hope that we get to South Korea, wrote the champion of the 2010 winter Olympic games. – Apparently, we do not have the necessary documents for the flight. Now, it seems, are looking for a replacement aircraft”.
Well hopefully we get to Korea….apparently we don’t have the right documents to fly??? About 2 hours on the plane so far and just siting at the gate. Some Germans and Italians on the plane too. ♀this@lufthansa #canweflynowplease

In the company of the carrier on the message, Vonn replied that the delay was due to technical reasons, at the moment of replacing the aircraft.
In addition to the victory at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver in the downhill, Vonn bronze medal of the 2010 Games in super-g, two world championship gold – 2009 in these disciplines, three silver and two bronze world Championships and four “Crystal globe”, which gives for first place in the overall standings of the world Cup at the end of the season. She is the record holder for number of wins in world Cup stages (81).
The Olympics will be held from 9 to 25 February in South Korea’s Pyeongchang.
