“The task of the Russian women’s Curling is to win medals at the Olympic games in 2018. This problem was posed four years ago. When there is a new discipline in Curling, we set ourselves the goal to win awards,” said Suliko.

“The main stage of preparation for the Olympics 2018 will be a European championship which will be held in November. Getting into the playoffs at this tournament is one of the objectives for the Olympic team. In case of default in December will be an additional selection for the right to go to Pyeongchang . This is an additional incentive to ensure that athletes did not reduce the level of preparation for the main tournament in February,” added the head coach.

At the Olympic games 2018 in South Korea will represent Russia team skip Anna Sidorova that the decision of the Executive Committee of the Russian Curling Federation received the priority right to participate in the Olympics.
