MOSCOW, March 18. /Offset. TASS Sergey Fuchs/. Russian snowboarder Alain Zavarzin aimed at solving the most serious ass at the Olympic winter games in 2018 in South Korea’s Pyeongchang. TASS said the chief coach of Russian national team Denis Tikhomirov.
At the final stage of the world Cup in German Winterberg, Russian athlete took seventh place. Following the tournament Zavarzin with 4500 points and took second place in the standings KM in the parallel disciplines. The first was Czech Esther Ledezma (4860), third – Patricia Kummer from Switzerland (4060).

“This result is important in the Olympic games. She set a goal to win, but today Alena again, an unfortunate mistake was made, but the potential is there, good for her, I congratulate her on this result. Now we need to relax and start to work again. Alena needs more work and see what changes . Basically, she does everything right, she is on the go,” said Tikhomirov.
“The problem is, they are the most serious, but how will it work? It is important, in what condition will be the competitors, how will the training”, – concluded the expert.
Zavarzin is the bronze medalist of the Olympic games 2014 in Sochi, world champion.
Olympic games in Korea will be held from 9 to 25 February.
