A number of French companies who wish to enter the Ukrainian market as investors and to develop new projects, but keeping them is quite problematic business climate in the country, said the Ambassador of France in Ukraine Isabelle Dumont (Dumont Isabelle) in interview to Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“The President addressed this issue at the meeting with President Poroshenko in Paris: despite the interest in the Ukrainian market the new French companies, de facto, they are not yet inclined to start working here because of the legal insecurity and corruption,” – said the Ambassador.

At the same time, she noted that, fortunately, the Ukrainian government, there are people and structures that are trying to solve the problem and sometimes eliminate the arisen obstacles, despite opposition.

“I mean the Office to attract and support investment Ukraineinvest, as well as the office of the national investment Council under the President of Ukraine”, – said I. Dumont.

She added that French companies are already working and developing on the Ukrainian market, and France is the largest foreign employer in Ukraine. Among the interesting for French investors industries she highlighted projects in renewable energy.
