MOSCOW, February 9. /Corr. TASS Sergey Fuchs/. Two-time world champion in skiing Sergey Ustyugov, not received from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) invitation to the Games in Pyeongchang, intends the results to prove the purity of their victories. That opinion was shared by TASS Vice-President of Federation of ski races of Russia (FLGR) Sergey Kranin.
On Friday issued a panel court of arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected the appeal of Russian 45 athletes on non-admission to the Olympics. Among those who challenged the decision of the IOC, was Ustyugov and seven skiers .

“Of course I’m outraged, I’m sorry for the guys that they out of the blue deprived of the opportunity to compete for medals the Olympics. It is now important that the guys understand that they are not abandoned, that will be plenty of other competitions that they didn’t give up and began to prepare even for the next Olympic games. Our task is to pull all the guys out of this hole and get them back on a competitive path,” said Cranin.
“Sergei is in a positive mood, he wants to prove he’s clean, he wins honestly. His innocence can be proved only by results. It is clear that this stress, but we have to digest this situation. Will a lot of other starts, you need to tune to win,” he added.
The invitation for the Games in 2018 got 168 Russian athletes, including 12 skiers who because of the removal of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) will be in Pyeongchang under the Olympic flag and the status of Olympic athlete from Russia
Olympics 2018 will be completed on February 25.
