KRASNODAR, March 24. /TASS/. Actor Daniel Kozlowski became a Federal Ambassador of the world championship on football of 2018 which will be held in Russia. The certificate was presented to him by Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Russian football Union (RFU) Vitaly Mutko before a friendly match between the national team of Russia and national team of côte d’ivoire in Krasnodar.

31-year-old Kozlowski is the winner of awards “Nika” and “Golden eagle”. The actor known for her roles in the films “soulless”, “Spy”, “Crew”, “Viking”. He also played the role of Valery Kharlamov in the film “Legend №17”.

“For me, this is a great event, honor and responsibility, – said Kozlovsky, quoted by the press service of the International football Federation. And I’m glad I have the opportunity, engaging in professional activities, to be involved in this landmark event, upcoming in Russia the world Cup” .

“Now football is in my life plays a major role, I work as a producer and Director shooting his first movie “Coach” is a story about a small team that needs to perform a miracle. The Federal ambassadors for the 2018 world Cup earlier became the best scorer in the history of football “Spartacus” Nikita Simonyan, the goalkeeper of CSKA and Russian national team Igor Akinfeev, the former captain of the Russian national football team Alexey Smertin, pianist Denis Matsuev, showman Sergey Svetlakov, Russian conductor Valery Gergiev. In late November, the title of Ambassador of the 2018 world Cup was awarded to the hockey player Alexander Ovechkin.

World Cup matches will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in 11 cities of Russia.
