Qualifying match for the 2018 world Cup between the national teams of Iran and Uzbekistan in Tehran, ended with the score 2:0 in favor of the hosts. Goal scored by striker “Rostov” Serdar Azmun forward Mehdi Taremi, plays in the national championship for Persepolis.

The Iranians scored 20 points after eight matches and guaranteed a direct spot in the final tournament of the world championship. Second place in group A with 13 points occupies the South Korea national team with a match to spare. Uzb ekistan is in third place (12 points).

In the final part of the tournament, which will take place in the summer of 2018 in Russia, will directly reach the top two teams of the group.
