Writer, Pulitzer prize winner Philip Roth died at age 85 in a hospital in Manhattan from heart failure.

Roth is the author of over 20 books, including “the Plot against America,” “the Case of the tailor”, “Another life”. In 1998, the writer was awarded the Pulitzer prize for his novel “American pastoral”. His most recent book is the novel “Nemesis” (2010). Eight of his works, a feature film. His mouth was a contender for the Nobel prize for literature but never received it. But he won the international man Booker prize and twice received the American literary award, PEN .
