During the protests in Athens, the police arrested 28 people. 20 of them are suspected of clashes with the police, eight men tried to smuggle into the house Molotov cocktails, according to AMNA.
Among the victims are two police officers, one local journalist and 20-year-old girl.
It is noted that the arrests were also produced in Thessaloniki and Patras, where there were clashes with the police.
Recall that the protests began after a peaceful March to the U.S. Embassy in connection with the anniversary of the uprising of the students of the Athens Polytechnic Institute November 17, 1973. In Athens in this action took part about 20 thousand people, and in Thessaloniki – about 9 thousand.
