At least 49 people were injured in the capital of Brazil during the demonstration, whose participants demanded the resignation of President Michel Temer and early elections of the President. According to the authorities, seven people were arrested for damage to public property, disobeying the police and illegal possession of weapons .

Earlier it became known that the building of the three Federal agencies was heavily damaged by fire in an arson attack on the part of the demonstrators. We are talking about the Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry of planning and the Ministry of culture. In all three cases, the fire to date is localized. Several more offices were looted.

Military police used against the demonstrators with tear gas and stun grenades. The protesters, whose number amounted to at least 35 thousand people gathered in the square Praça dos Tres Poderes (Portuguese – square of the three powers), which is the National Congress (Parliament) and the Federal Supreme court, as well as the working residence of the head of state of the Planalto Palace. Law enforcement officials put a cordon in order not to prevent the invasion of the protesters administrative buildings, but the protesters managed to break in.
