Since April in protest against the government of Venezuela almost two thousand people were injured.

Venezuela’s attorney General Luis Ortega Diaz said that in the ongoing for almost four months of protests in the country 121 people were killed and almost two thousand were injured, reports RIA Novosti.

“General sad the balance we have in these last four months − 121 Venezuelan who lost their lives, and 1958 seriously and very seriously injured,” said Ortega Diaz at a press conference .

According to her, only the day of elections to the National constituent Assembly on July 30, were killed ten people.

Recall, July 30, in Venezuela, elections to the National constituent Assembly. Among the candidates no one represented the opposition. The United States opposed the elections and imposed sanctions against the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro over actions to undermine democracy in the country.
