Reported killed in Caracas, San cristóbal and San Antonio de Los Altos.
During the mass protests in Venezuela on Wednesday, April 19, gunshot to the head killed the 17-year-old student who was among the participants of a demonstration against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas. His death was confirmed at the hospital, where he was taken for surgery after being wounded.
Earlier the General Prosecutor’s office confirmed the wounding of 17-year-old student from the opposition camp, saying that the investigation is ongoing. According to some, the young man had not intended to participate in the action, but only was in the immediate vicinity of the group of opposition demonstrators.
Later, the AP also reported the deaths of 23-year-old woman at a protest in San Cristobal. The mayor said that she was killed by a shot from the side of Pro-government groups surrounded the demonstrating opposition .
In turn, the authorities reported the death of one soldier during protests in the small town of San Antonio de Los Altos, located near Caracas. As stated by the Deputy of the ruling United socialist party of Venezuela Diosdado Cabello, a military was killed by demonstrators.
In the capital and many other cities to protest, which organizers called the “mother of all marches” that left hundreds of thousands of residents. Participants of the rally in Caracas was flooded main highway, waving posters, flags of Venezuela and shout “Down with the dictatorship!” and “Maduro get out!”.
