PJSC “Energomashspetsstal” (EMSS,, Kramatorsk, Donetsk region), which is owned by the Russian Atomenergomash (Rosatom) in December signed a major contract for the production of components for the reactor equipment of blocks No. 3 and No. 4 nuclear power plant “Sugapa”, which will be built in Liaoning province (China).

According to a press release on the website of EMSS, the deadline for delivery of the equipment under the contract, the cost of which was not disclosed to March 2022.

The agreement provides for the production and supply of more than 3,400 tons of items for nuclear power plants – dozens of large workpieces of the reactor vessel, steam generator, main circulation pump, main circulation pipeline, reservoir and pressure compensator.

“For EMSS is the second major contract in the field of nuclear energy of China, signed in 2019. Currently, in the framework of the concluded in July contract manufactured parts for the reactor equipment of the seventh and eighth units of the Tianwan NPP, – is reminded in the message.

EMSS – the largest Ukrainian manufacturer of special casted and forged products of individual and small-scale production for metallurgy, shipbuilding, power industry (wind-, steam-, hydro-, nuclear) and General engineering.

In 2018 the net income of the company increased 58.2% to 2 billion 373 million UAH, net loss was reduced more than threefold, to 293,6 mln.

In January-November of the current year, the company has reduced steel production by 5.3% compared to the same period last year – up to 54 thousand tons (this year the planned production of 54.26 million tons).
