During the talks, the politicians discussed bilateral agenda and exchanged views on the security zone to be set up in the East of the Euphrates.

In addition, the two leaders agreed in November to hold a meeting in Washington.

Earlier it was reported that Turkey began unilateral military action in a “safe zone” in North-East Syria.
