The President of Turkey has made it clear that after taking control of the Kurdish enclave of Afrin in Syria, the Turkish army will move on the province of Idlib.
The Turkish army is preparing to conduct larger operations in Syria. This was stated by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Anadolu reports.
“The actions of the Turkish armed forces undertaken since the beginning of operations in Afrin, it is a preparation for more ambitious steps. The offensive of the Turkish army is still ahead”, – said Erdogan.
According to him, the Turkish military first eliminate the threat of terrorism in the Afrin, and then continue in Idlib province.
In turn, the Turkish General staff noted that on the territory of Syria to ‘ Afrīn eliminated 1028 Kurds. The military took control of the 24 villages and 12 strategically important heights .
