MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. A number of European countries have updated travel advisories for travel to Russia after an explosion in St. Petersburg. This is stated in the message published on the website of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR).

Here said that while the updates are the authorities of Britain, France and Italy. “The reaction of European countries to the events in St. Petersburg similar to the one that usually give the Russian authorities the citizens of the Russian Federation in the Commission of such incidents in other countries,” – said in ATOR.

For example, the UK foreign office updated its advice for citizens traveling to Russia with the language to observe “special care”, while foreign office continues to believe that use of the majority of Russian regions is safe . The authorities of France and Italy are advised to observe “heightened vigilance during the journey and avoid mass gatherings”.

As previously noted in ATOR, representatives of travel agencies do not expect mass cancellations of bookings in Saint-Petersburg.

The explosion occurred on 3 April in the train on the stretch between the stations “Institute of Technology” and “Sennaya Ploschad”. As has informed a source in law enforcement bodies, explosive device detonated a suicide bomber. Killed 14 people, injured more than 50.
