The European members of the UN security Council on Wednesday condemned the recent missile launches in North Korea and pointed to the need for a clear implementation of the acting against the DPRK sanctions regime.
“We condemn these provocative actions. They undermine regional security and stability as well as peace and security on the planet”, – reads the statement of the permanent representatives of Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Poland and UK in the UN. All of these countries currently represented in the UN security Council.
They pointed out the extreme importance of the implementation of UN security Council resolutions prohibiting testing in the DPRK of ballistic missiles, and preservation sanctions. In addition, European countries urged “the international community to fulfil its commitments and to implement these sanctions.”
Last week’s military, North Korea conducted another missile test. As later reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA), the DPRK under the leadership of the country’s leader Kim Jong UN has successfully tested the launcher rocket systems of volley fire.
Us officials have repeatedly stated that launches of short-range missiles by the DPRK, are not a violation of the agreements between the President of the United States Donald trump and Kim Jong-UN on nuclear tests and launches of Intercontinental missiles, which were achieved at their first meeting in Singapore.
