The international football Federation (FIFA) has granted the request from the Football Association of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the replacement referees from Qatar to meet the qualifying tournament for the 2018 world Cup with the team of Thailand in connection with the diplomatic crisis in the Persian Gulf. Match Thailand – UAE will be held in Bangkok on 13 June. Initially, the team of judges was formed from the representatives of Qatar, but after a request from the UAE it will include two representatives each from Singapore and Malaysia. “The decision was made for sporting reasons in connection with the current geopolitical situation,” – said in a FIFA statement .
