MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. In Vladivostok completed its work international far East Maritime salon (MDMS), which was held from 26 to 28 July in the campus of far Eastern Federal University on island Russian.

In the preparation and conduct of the event took part more than 1000 people from Russia and the Asia-Pacific region. In the exit events of the Salon, its business and cultural programmes were involved representatives of 21 countries. MDMS 2018 was organized by the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation. The initiator of MDMS-2018 was made by the head of Primorye Andrey Tarasenko. Participants MDMS-2018 discussed topical issues of shipbuilding development, infrastructure, logistics. Separate set of activities was devoted to the tools of regulation. Guests took part in live discussions on the use of digital technology, the tracking of vessels, the blockchain . Total on-site International far Eastern sea salon has been more than 15 business events.

The first naval salon in Vladivostok presented to the full potential and capabilities of the domestic civil shipbuilding and ship repair, shipping and port infrastructure. The Central event of the business program of the International far Eastern sea salon was the Plenary session “Water transport in the era of digitization and new technologies”, which took part of Zapredsedatelya of the Government of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov, Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Ryazantsev, the commander of the Pacific fleet of the Russian Navy Sergei Avakyants, acting Vice President for civil shipbuilding JSC “United shipbuilding Corporation” Igor Shack and Vice-President for energy localization and innovation PJSC “NC “Rosneft” Andrei Shishkin.

The focus of the participants MDMS 2018 was issues related to the work of the shipyard “Zvezda” — Russia’s largest enterprises, built in the town of Bolshoi Kamen. The plant in the near future will be able to build and maintain the largest court in the country, including large. This will allow Russia to enter the international market and to compete with Asian and European shipbuilding corporations.

Sure MDS will not only be a great platform for establishing business ties, but will also have a positive impact on the development of the Far East”, — stated the Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Ryazantsev.

In the International far Eastern sea salon conference “Marinette” National technology initiative and a public meeting of the far Eastern subgroups of NTI “Marinette”. Participants received a unique opportunity to discuss the latest technology used in shipbuilding, including robotics, laser and neural network technology.

Special attention was paid to the personnel reserve in the shipbuilding industry. In this area there are several major problems: lack of personnel in General, the shortage of specialists in remote regions of the country and small towns, the mismatch of curricula to the requirements of potential employers. In this regard, the participants discussed the disruptive civil technologies and staff capable of developing these technologies. In addition, throughout the Salon, at the stand “From the screw” took place most of the youth business programme, which met the representatives of the specialized Maritime educational institutions, research laboratories, academia and opinion leaders, as well as held a presentation of projects of young engineers.

In addition to the business program the participants visited the exhibition on an area of 1,200 square meters of its projects and developments presented by leading enterprises such as JSC “United shipbuilding Corporation”, JSC “far Eastern center of shipbuilding and ship repair” JSC “Admiralty shipyards”, JSC “Baltiyskiy Zavod”, JSC “Zelenodolsk plant named after A. M. Gorky”, JSC “Vostochnaya Verf”, JSC EP “Era”, JSC “Shipbuilding complex “Zvezda”, JSC “Armalit” and others.

For residents and guests of Vladivostok and Primorsky region was prepared a rich cultural program. For open visit were open eight ships: the boat of the series “the Rook”, hydrographic vessel “Victor Faleev”, the Corvette “Perfect”, a training sailing vessel “Pallada” and “Nadezhda”, the ice class tanker “RN Sakhalin”, as well as boat Adventure 72 Pacifico and Pacifico catamaran Cruise 120, built at the shipyards in Primorye. Ships and vessels that participated in International far Eastern marine salon, was moored to the docks of the Pacific fleet.

International far Eastern sea salon and members proved that today Russia is a recognized leader in the international arena of shipbuilding. The conduct of such industry events have become a landmark for the entire Asia-Pacific region and laid the Foundation for the development of the Russian Far East as the center of attraction of high technology and professional personnel. The next major event will be held in Vladivostok from September 11 to September 13. At the site of the far Eastern Federal University campus on the Russian island will host the IV international economic forum.
