The President of Finland Sauli Niinistö during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and asked him to release Ukrainian hostages. It is reported by the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat on Thursday, July 27.

“We also talked about the situation in Ukraine, which is not improving. The first priority is a ceasefire and moving forward, at least in small steps, for example, the release of the hostages,” – said the President of Finland.
