TASS, 28 Dec. The international ski Federation (FIS) does not intend to suspend the activities of the Association of ski sports of Russia for doping violations, but reprimanded her. About it reported in a press release from FIS.

The disciplinary Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in November-December suspended for life 11 Russian skiers from participating in the Olympic games and canceled their results at the 2014 Games in Sochi. The Association unites national federations in such sports as cross-country skiing, freestyle, snowboard, ski, ski jumping jumping and Nordic combined .

“Currently, the FIS Council on the basis of the available evidence does not intend to suspend the activities of the Association of ski sports of Russia, – is spoken in the message. However, it makes the Association a warning and expects the full cooperation and support the implementation of the decisions of the IOC, concerning Russian athletes and support staff. In addition, the Board expects full cooperation in respect of decisions of the doping panel of the FIS and the possible solutions to the court of arbitration for Sport (CAS)”.

Also in the release notes that all planned in Russia competitions under the auspices of FIS will be held according to the calendar. In addition, it is reported that FIS was suspended from competitions under the auspices of the organization of all the 11 athletes disqualified by the IOC. On November 30 sanctions by the FIS were subjected to Alexander Legkov, Evgeniy Belov, Alexey Petukhov, Maxim Vylegzhanin, Yulia Ivanova and Evgenia Shapovalova, December 1 – Yulia Chekaleva and Anastasia Dotsenko, December 22 – Natalia Matveeva, Nikita Kryukov and Alexander Bessmertnykh.

The IOC, on 5 December announced the suspension of membership of the Olympic Committee of Russia, from-for what the Russian team will not be able to participate in Games in Pyeongchang under the flag of their country. The IOC left to pure Russian athletes to play the Games in the status of “Olympic athlete from Russia” under the Olympic flag.

Olympic games 2018 will be held in South Korean Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February.
