The state Department said that the proposals are quite modest, but are a good start for a dialogue with Moscow.

The official U.S. state Department spokesman Heather Nauert reported that following the meeting of the presidents of the United States and Russia Donald trump, and Vladimir Putin, the American side is considering three proposals. About this informed the press-service of the state Department.

It is noted that one of the proposals concerns the establishment of a working group of high level, which will include representatives of Russian and American business sectors.

“Another proposal is the creation of a specific expert Council, which will include scientists from the US and from Russia, diplomats, former diplomats, former military officials,” said Nauert .

And the third proposal was that representatives of the Council of national security of the United States will meet with Russian colleagues from the security Council and agreed on further contacts.

Recall, trump and Putin held talks in Helsinki on 16 July. At the summit leaders, in particular, discussed Ukraine, Syria, and the stream 2 and the issue of RF interference in U.S. elections.
