Kotovsk local Prosecutor’s office sent to court the indictment concerning the inhabitant of Podolsk and Odessa region, which law enforcement officers suspected of bribing voters in the early parliamentary elections.

“According to investigators, in July, during the election campaign of early parliamentary elections, a citizen offered to residents of the district of Podolsk to sell his vote. For 1 thousand. During the searches law enforcement seized draft records with the names of persons who were paid money.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings carried out by the investigators of the Podolsk Department of police (part 4 of article 160 of the criminal code of Ukraine).

“For bribery of voters, the law provides for punishment of 5 to 7 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years”, – reminded in the regional Prosecutor’s office.
