In France found a sketch of a naked woman, which, experts say, could be the outline for the “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci. Portrait drawn with charcoal and known as “Monna the bath” from 1862 was in the musée condé in the Palace of Chantilly.

According to Mathieu Delica specialist who carried out the study, “Mona Lisa” and “Mona bath” are almost the same size, also on the similarity of the portraits indicates the image of the face and hands.

The expert of the Louvre Bruno Moten, in turn, noted that the hatching in the upper right corner of the work was done right-handed, while the famous Italian painter painted with his left hand. In this regard, he advised the professionals to be “extremely careful” in the estimates.
