MOSCOW, July 17. /TASS/. “Gazpromneft-Aero” (the operator of the aviation fuel business “Gazprom oil”) and one of the leading suppliers of aviation fuel in Turkey SOCAR Turkey Petrol Enerji signed an agreement on the gas station airline partners SOCAR Turkey Petrol Enerji at airports, where the Russian company. In accordance with the contract, “Gazpromneft-Aero” was opened by SOCAR Turkey Petrol Enerji access to its network of airports in Russia and the beginning of the gas station Pegasus Airlines at Tolmachevo international airport in Novosibirsk. Total shipments for the year will exceed 1100 tonnes of jet fuel.

Refueling in Turkey

General Director of “Gazpromneft-Aero” also said that the company in the first half of 2017, a threefold increased refueling aircraft in Turkey to over 13 thousand tonnes of jet fuel. Refilling is carried out in partnership with local suppliers of aviation fuel.

“The tourist flow between Russia and Turkey is recovering today. In the first half of 2017, the total volume of our gas stations in Turkey amounted to more than 13 thousand tons of aviation fuel, which is three times higher than in the same period of 2016,” – said Egorov.

Earlier it was reported that abroad in the first quarter of 2017, “Gazpromneft-Aero” filled with over 50 thousand tons of aviation fuel, which is three times exceeded indicators of January – March last year. Airport network presence expanded from 178 to 182 airports in more than 60 countries. The company first began refueling of aircraft at Sharjah (UAE), Surat Thani (Thailand), Changsha (China), Cayo Coco (Cuba) through the development of partnerships with leading suppliers of aviation fuel in local markets.
