GDP in Ukraine in January increased by 5.1%. This is stated in the materials published today by the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine.
It is noted that the composite output index of goods and services in January 2017 increased by 7% compared to January 2016. GDP in January grew by 5.1%, whereas the figure for January 2016 was estimated at 1.6 million%.
The report noted that positive outcomes are significantly influenced by the critically low base for comparison, as the Russian transit restrictions. Also the impact of improving consumer demand at the background of growth of the minimum wage.
