“Now a joint mission with the United States can not be, since Europeans represent a fundamentally different policy toward Iran,” – said the Chairman of the Committee of the German Bundestag for foreign Affairs Norbert röttgen (CDU).
Commissioner for the defense of the Christian democratic Union Johann Wadephul adheres to similar opinion.
“Germany can participate in the European mission only on condition of coordination with the U.S. overall strategy against Iran. USA not ready for this”, – he said.
