MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. The Russian goalkeeper of club of National hockey League (NHL) “Colorado” Semyon Varlamov stated that 100% recovery by the start of next season. His words are quoted by the press service of the club.

This season, the NHL Varlamov has played 24 matches in which he scored six victories, conceding on average of 3.38 goals per game with 89.8 per cent of the reflected shots. The goalkeeper several times missed games because of a groin injury. The last time he went out on the ice on January 17.

“Two months have passed after the first surgery and six weeks after the second, so I feel good, – said Varlamov. – Right now undergoing a long rehabilitation period, and I am sure that the problem behind. I look forward to the start of the new season in September, I’ll be ready 100%” .

“It’s been a long year, but I try to stay positive every day. Next season will be definitely better than the current. Now every morning I go through physical therapy procedures,” said Varlamov, adding that he hoped to go on the ice in may.

Varlamov is a world champion in 2012 and silver medalist of the world championship 2010. In national team he also played on the world Cup 2016.
