Saturday, March 25, in Kiev took place the funeral of the former Deputy of the State Duma Denis Boronenkov, who was shot by the killer in the center of the Ukrainian capital. The funeral ceremony was held in the Vladimir Cathedral and then the procession went to the cemetery Zverinetskoe.
A few minutes before burial spouse Boronenkov Maria Maksakova almost cried, but found the strength to approach the casket of her husband and to give him the last word, according to “Russian conversation”.
According to Maksakova, Boronenkov was glad that Ukraine gave him the opportunity to stay. In her opinion, her husband “illegally persecuted” in Russia.

Earlier Maksakova said that the tragic incident could have been avoided had the Ukrainian authorities provided Voronenkov heavy guard. Maksakova herself after her husband’s assassination moves through the Ukrainian capital in an armored car surrounded by employees of local special services.
