The Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych said that the Ministry of education is considering the introduction with 2018 uniform lists of required subjects of external independent evaluation (UPE) for admission to the same specialty in different educational institutions.

“One of the options is to standardize the list of required subjects for admission to the same specialty in different universities that the applicant did not explode from having served certificates external independent testing”, – she told in interview to Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”, speaking about the planned changes in the rules of admission for 2018.

The Minister noted that such universal lists of the items testing for each specialty will be discussed with the public.

According to L . Hrynevych, in 2017, many universities themselves put themselves the norm that training on a particular program, they will conduct only in the event if they have, for example, five students (could be more, or less), which came into places of government order.

“However, in this case, if the program enrolled only two state employees, the program doesn’t open. Those two public sector e-program automatically distributes to universities that were below them in priority,” the Minister said.

If the applicants have suppressed only one application per training program and it would not open – they lost the opportunity to enter higher education.

In all such cases in 2017, there was over 400 and each of the Ministry of education sought and offered such applicants designated on a budget at other universities.
