Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman after the fire at the Odessa hotel, which killed eight people, and instructed to immediately begin large-scale inspections of places of recreation of citizens, especially hotels and resorts.

“The owners and managers of such facilities shall be solely responsible for the safety of people and the perpetrators must be punished”, – Groysman wrote on his page on the social network Facebook on Saturday.

Prime Minister of Ukraine expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

He also thanked the rescuers who “selflessly fought the fire and rescued from the snares of men.”

As reported, in Odessa in the night of Saturday, August 17, there was a fire in the hotel “Tokyo star, str, 1, killing eight people, another 10 people were injured.

In the Unified register of pretrial investigations included information under part 2 of article 270 (violation established by the legislation of fire safety requirements) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
