Ukraine news: OperaFest Tulchyn: Groisman told how to make a small town attractive to tourists.

Opera festival under the open sky in Tulchin, Vinnitsa region is an example of art as a startup, the possibility of decentralization and the efforts of local authorities can change the image of a small town.

This was stressed by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman on his page on Facebook, post a video to illustrate.

“OperaFest Tulchyn – a great example of how art startup + the possibility of decentralization and the wisdom of local authorities are able to make a small town attractive to tourists. And he was there, and you are invited!” – wrote, Groisman.

As previously reported, in Vinnytsia on Friday in the Park of the Potocki Palace in Tulchyn started the SECOND international Opera festival under the open sky OperaFest Tulchyn, which will be held June 8-10 . At OperaFest Tulchyn 2018 will be more than 30 soloists from Austria, Germany, USA and Ukraine, 300 instrumentalists, 50 dancers, 180 members choirs and four world-renowned conductor – Oksana Lyniv (Austria – Ukraine), Taras Krysa (USA), Yuri Bright (Ukraine) and Vladimir Sivokhip (Ukraine).

The festival in Tulchin opened “Leontovich Art-Quarter”. This art quarter – cultural startup project that won the competition of Ministry of culture “Small town – big impressions”. It was jointly implemented Tulchinskaya GSS and the NGO “Laboratory of the contemporary art”. In the quarter created 8 objects of monumental murals – murals on musical subjects. The largest of these depicts the facade of the Milan Opera house La Scala.
